Provider Enrollment and Credentialing Information
Partners Behavioral Health Management (Partners BHM) is the Local Management Entity/Managed Care Organization that oversees and monitors publicly-funded mental health, intellectual and developmental disability, and substance abuse services for its catchment area that includes Burke, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Surry and Yadkin counties. This includes services for Medicaid enrollees whose county of Medicaid eligibility is within the eight counties previously noted. This impacts all Medicaid direct enrolled behavioral health agency providers, Licensed Independent Practitioners and hospitals that provide inpatient and emergency department services to consumers with behavioral health needs.
Effective February 1, 2013, only providers with a fully executed contract with Partners BHM are eligible for claims submission and reimbursement for services rendered for consumers with Medicaid eligibility within the Partners’ eight county service area.
Partners BHM is currently conducting a needs assessment/network capacity study to determine any service gaps in the network. Once the study is completed, Partners will post Request for Proposals/Request for Interests to fill service gaps in the network as needed. This applies to Medicaid and IPRS services. Please check our website frequently for future updates.
It is the responsibility of provider agencies not contracted within the Partners BHM Provider Network on February 1, 2013 to transition Medicaid consumers to a Partners BHM Network Provider. Please refer to Provider Communication Bulletin #6 (issued November 6, 2012) for details and contact information.
